Description
A flock of Western Snowy Plovers (Charadrius nivosus) run along the shore of the Monterey Peninsula in central California. This threatened population nests in the nearby coastal sand dunes.
"Follow the Leader" placed in first in the FAA Fleet of Seabirds by the Seashore photography contest on 11/26/2017.
