The Salinas Valley of central California, once home to author John Steinbeck, is a major hub of agricultural activity and is often referred to as the "salad bowl of the world". With my loyal Labrador retriever (first Melody, now Charlotte) at my side, I enjoy photographing the local agriculture, as well as the scenery and wildlife of the hills, mountains and beaches of the beautiful Monterey peninsula. When traveling, I seek to find subjects that are out of the ordinary, or look for new perspectives of commonly shot locations. My goal is to produce images that are bright, colorful and unique.
